Last month, I did a vlog because it marked 2 months of living in Grenada. I can hardly believe how fast time flies here because now it’s time for month 3! So, you can click play to view the month 3 vlog below.
I kept myself honest and let you know what’s really going on in my head this month since you know I like to “keep it real” around here. Should be interesting to see how things change in month 4. Thanks for watching. 🙂

Hang in there! I can see where you could get in a funk over there. I’m definitely one of those people that needs purpose in life and when I have some down town I go a little bit nutty. Keep branching out and grab on to new opportunities! I think that will help a lot.
I’m feeling kind of the same as you. I moved to my new town 3 months ago. It was fun at first, but it’s starting to get a bit tedious now. It’s ok to feel a bit down…it’s only normal, especially if you’re far from family. Life is always harder when family is far away. And I can ABSOLUTELY empathize with feeling unproductive and a bit inert. At least you have some good friends there!
It makes total sense to feel how you’re feeling! To be honest, that’s the biggest reason why we’re “living” in two places right now… because we’re a tiny bit terrified about moving to a super small town with no safety net. So our condo in the city is our safety net. 🙂 But I’m sure when we bite the bullet and do small town life full-time it will be a similar transition period for us.
You ARE being a productive citizen–just not at the same intensity level.
One cannot maintain the graduate school level of work indefinitely without
a respite. Consider this time your “health break–both physical and mental”. It is very hard to go from “full speed ahead” to “dead stop” so give
yourself a break. Love MOM
