Have you ever wanted to be a writer online?
Like, a real, legitimate people-pay-you for your words type of writer?
Well, I’ve been freelancing over 5 years, and I want to share some wisdom with you one-on-one.
Why Now?
I’ve shared wisdom for free over the past few years of course, and I’ll continue to do so. However, I can write all day long about how to stay motivated, how to organize clients, and where to search for online writing jobs, but we all know we’re so much more successful when someone coaches us along, pushing us to do our best.
For example, I can tell you I got started by looking for jobs on the Problogger job board, but wouldn’t it be nice to have me read your pitch e-mail, help you tweak the wording, and give you advice on the correct approach and perfect timing? If you’ve never applied for writing jobs before online or you’re always getting turned down, wouldn’t it be nice to have someone look it over, someone who has been there before?
I can also tell you that I took a class to become a better blogger, and it made a huge difference. I want to pass on that knowledge to you as well, and also offer some guidance if you need me.
I’ve helped hundreds of writers over the past few years with quick e-mail advice and fast responses, but I want to do more. It would make my job awesome, truly, to reach out and help someone else be successful and create the career they’ve always wanted.
Here’s why you should consider working with me:
1. Growth
In just three years, I grew my online writing business from my first job at $10/post to making several thousand dollars a month.
2. Mistakes
I’ve tried and failed many times. I’ve been told no many times. I’ve asked for raises and been turned down. I’ve asked for raises and been told yes. I’ve made some pretty serious and dumb mistakes, and I’ve had a ton of triumphs. If you work with me, I’m happy to share some of my best and worst moments so you can avoid the bad times and have more of the good.
3. Experience
I used to teach extremely intelligent students how to get jobs. I was a course director for a very intense pre-med writing class. I worked with some of the brightest students from all over the world. They represented over 15 different countries, and I coached them on cover letters, resumes, and professionalism. I use these same techniques every day to get writing jobs for myself, and I can teach them to you too.
4. Support
I’m a huge supporter of other writers. Let me clarify: I want you to succeed. I want you to get jobs. I definitely don’t sit all cooped up in my corner at Starbucks hoarding all of the writing jobs for myself. I can’t possibly write for every website there is online, and it would be boring for everyone if I did. I have lost count of the amount of jobs I’ve referred to other people when I’ve felt like they were a better fit for the job. Joining this coaching program means you’ll be a part of a very close-knit network. If I get offered a job that I can’t do or am not interested in doing, my coaching students will be the first people I recommend.
5. Guarantee
I’m going to make you a promise. If you follow my advice, you will get a writing job somewhere online by the end of the 3 month coaching period. If you don’t have at least one job by the end of it, you’ll get your money back. Simple as that.
Look at it this way: You make an upfront investment for coaching and support. At the end of the three months, you’ll have a job that will allow you to make back your investment pretty quickly. Win-win.
If you are interested, here’s what you’ll get.
– Lifetime access to a private Facebook group where I will share advice, job leads, and respond to questions/concerns about the writing lifestyle.
– An hour long initial phone call where we will discuss your experience and your hopes for your future as a writer. I will then use the information from this phone call to create a plan for you to get your first writing job.
– Unlimited e-mail support from me where I will edit your writing samples, pitches, and resume.
– A feature right here on Budget Blonde to celebrate your first paid writing job.
If you have any questions, you can contact me here. I try to respond as fast as possible! Also, payments can be split into three for ease.

Aw well I think everyone should be confident. Seriously your blog is great! Let me know! 😀
How would this work with splitting up the payments? Does the coaching not start until paid in full? Feel free to just email me 🙂
I e-mailed you but for anyone else interested, once a month payments are great, and we can start with the first payment. 🙂
Wonderful idea, you’re going to do amazing! I need to get up the gumption to do a guest post first, then on to freelancing. I’m way too critical of myself sometimes. LOL
